Colour Correction – any good book suggestions?

Encyclopedia of Color Correction by Alexis Van Hurkman. Great book. But thick. VERY in depth. Taught me a thing or two.

For a good basic overview there is a DVD you should think about getting, Color Correction for Final Cut Pro by Ripple Training:

Hi Adam,
there is also a good book from the “Apple Pro Training Series”: Advnced CC and Effects in FCP5. As the title sais is based in FC, but the science of the CC its works basically the same in every application.

Shane – would you recommend this book for someone who does not use FCP to color grade.

Best book I have seen on color correction is Steven Hullfish – Color correction for DV.

thanks for the suggestions….i shall see if i can find some copies. That dvd rom based training looks like a good product.
