    Hello,

I shot a cooking show demo on two DVX100’s. One of the cameras footage looks fantastic, the other is looking very warm, resulting in untrue skin tones. The problem was not discovered until too late. After meeting with the DP he is wondering if there is the equivalent of a blue filter or an 85 filter in the “video effects.” We have tried to make some adjustments in video filter / color correction and using Color and both attempts have resulted in a better overall image but with a white mask over that improved image. It’s almost as though you are seeing it through a fog.
Any solutions? Any way to simply match the color spectrum of one camera’s footage to another?
    I am using Studio 2.
    Thanks a lot.

Go to video filters color correction three way. Use the eyedropper by the white to match to the white from the good footage, the eyedropper by the black to the black from the good footage, etc.

That’s a great idea. I never would have thought of that. What about the white mask?
