    Hi,

Im working on a project that includes a server cupboard illustration that I have made in illustrator, I want to animate it so all the different lights are changing colour at different times. I have brought over the file from illustrator with pretty much all the different groups of lights on individual layers.

I need to figure out a way to get the individual paths within the layer to change colour, ideally I dont want to have to go into every path and keyframe the colour changes so if I could pick whip the colour changes to a null object for different paths that would be ideal – if this is even possible?

Unless there is a better way of doing this?

    Thanks!

This might be a help, basically using a layer to randomise the colours (this EC Abrams tut uses a grey scale layer to control scale but it can be modified to suit your needs)
