• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  colors…?

  hi everybody. dealing with different formats for web i discovered the following: i edited in FCP wit apple prores422. after encoding for web (mp4 with FFMPEG) i had the following differences:

  

  with FCP looking good (as corrected in COLOR), the original media file looks a bit weak, while the MP4 seems to have a different gamma (1.3)…

  so, is there a “hidden color management” at work…?
