colorizing
This is probably a stretch but, are there any tools or plug ins available in or for Vegas Pro 9, which can produce a color image from a black & white picture or video? It doesn’t have to perfect, I’d just like to add some color to old family pictures and videos I have.

If you have Photoshop, do a Google search on “Photoshop colorize black and white“.
Close approximations of some of the tools in Photoshop can be found in Vegas and you’ll be able to apply those techniques.
If you don’t, try playing around with tools like Color Corrector and see what you can come up with.
NewBlueFX (paid package) has several different video FX available that might be of some use. -
You can apply the Sepia FX to your event. Then adjust the color, blending strengh & falloff as desired.
