Ive been give the task of editing a hospital spot that consists entirely of exterior shots. The footage was shot in 1080p. Im going to mask the sky out of most all the shots and replace something really nice and probally give the build and he sky a little “tension” meaning the building will be growing to the right very slowly and the sky will be shrinking to the left just a slow.

Id also really love to give the footage a nice color treatment in after effects to spice this spot up. Im thinking a sort of halo, glow, luma bloom look. Ive seen this type of thing on the tube a lot. can anyone point me in a direct that would assist me in learning how to create what im looking for. we have look suite filters for final cut that i could drop on the clips but ive done that before and what to accomplish this all in after effects because im sure the end result will be much nicer if I do.

    thanks for your time,

    m a t t .
