Color Temperature
Posted by Sean Simms on October 25, 2010 at 9:24 pmPhotoshop has a color temperature balance slider in camera raw….very easy to use….i want to change the color temp of my clips but final cut and every other program I know of just uses those color correctors which are a pain and never reproduce the color temp change i can get with a photo in camera raw in photoshop….
so is there a software somewhere that I can download to do this tedious chore for me?
thx

October 26, 2010 at 2:38 amWhy don’t you start with proper white balance and lighting to begin with? Would save a lot of post time.

October 26, 2010 at 7:59 amFull colour temp control & adjustment can be found within the Tiffen Dfx plugin.
Cams: Z1, EX3, HDX900.

October 26, 2010 at 1:41 pmAs mentioned Tiffen DFX also Magic Bullet looks are very easy to use. You can “easily” do this with FCP Color Corrector. Move towards the Red for warmer and move towards the Blue for Cooler.

November 4, 2010 at 7:37 pmThose color correctors look awful in FCP…..I’ve never been able to match a realistic color temp change with them….
