I’m saving a LAYERED PSD from my timeline in AE to manipulate in Photoshop (just adding some text and an image), and then use as a still in FCP7. I’m getting a big color shift though.

I read about a gamma shift in AE ProRes to FCP, but I can’t correct it. Is that my problem anyway? I’m just saving out a PSD not a movie (ProRess 444)

    Thanks for any tips.

Here is a run down of what I’m doing:

AE I have a vignette and a circle frame with text that the client will drop in images into in photoshop.

In FCP I have an animation of the vignette and a circle frame that lands and then fades to still images from Photoshop, like a side show. Then back to an animation out.

basically building a template that the client can do updates in PSD easy. But the animation (H264, ProRes, etc) whatever I render out the still image doesn’t matchup.
