    How would you go about doing color seperation in photoshop and illustrator? color seperation for like screen printing.

    I need more information. What kind of printing? 4 color process? Spot colors? Usually I do all screen printing in Illustrator using spot colors. If I’m going to print on a dark color fabric, I underprint white everywhere there is ink. You might want to check with the printer and see what they require.

    Its using a standard screen printer, like for tshirts and stuff.

    Again you need to determine 4/c or spot. Who is doing the printing and how are they printing it? Are you going to do the seperations yourself? In photoshop you could just run all 4 channels seperatly. I really don’t have enough information to help you.
