Sorry i can’t give you an answer for your problem but maybe you can help me out.
You get an increase in colour sturation, I get the opposite – a reduction in saturation.
Can you tell me the settings you use in Vegas and DVDA. I would like to check them against mine.
My dvd’s ebd up with a black level too high [not black] and a reduction in saturation and I cant work out why.
Thx if you can. -

May 5, 2006 at 5:53 pmHi Geoff, I cannot give you my Vegas settings because I use Premiere Pro to edit… But I usually make an AVI of my time line using the Microsoft DV codec ( I think is the same in vegas) and import to DVDArch. On DVDA. I just burn it out… Some times I increase the standard bit rate just for test… but doing this I never saw big differences…
Just for contribution I would like to say that my blacks is not all black too… I don’t know why my black level always still hi when I make dvds usig DVDA. I will tray some day Encore… just to see if have any difference…Sorry can’t help you too…
