ok so i have this comp that involves a rainbow and i have a layer to make my rain drop up, i have the rain coming down from the rainbow,

I would like to be able to have a random color effect added to the rain drops so each one is different whilst falling. (like the color random property in particular)

But as this option is greyed out when using a custom particle i cant do it. I have made a kinda work around where i apply a hue expression to an adjustment layer, but this changes all of the rain drops.

If anyone has a neat work around for this would be very grateful

    Cheereo!

Best I’ve got is to cut your number of particles by, say, 20%, then duplicate it four times and colorize each layer. I’m sure someone cleverer than me has a more elegant solution to this, but I hope it helps for now!
