  • Color problems with H.264!

    Hi!

I have a project that I have been editing in Premiere pro (2015.3) for a while now, and when I take my finished project over to AME, I usually do two copies, one H264 and the other Cineform codecs. The problem is though, playback of the H264 file does not seem to have applied the LUTs and color grading/correction I had applied. Please help! In the photo, the left is the h264 file, while the right is in Cineform. I really need to use h264 without losing color correction because I need to get small files to my clients. Thank you in advance.

madVR supports luts, color managements inside mpc-hc. VLC doesn’t support color management.

if luts aren’t being rendered at all, in AME preferences, deselect “Import sequences natively” selected?

    also,
try these threads for gamma/color/valid video color range via codec

Ok. A quick question, where is the Import sequences natively box? Should it be checked or unchecked, and is it called Import image sequences from watch folders? because that one is checked. (I unchecked it) I am pretty sure VLC player is not the problem either. I have tried the same file in Youtube, quicktime, and the player used for the Cineform version (Divx player). All deliver the same problem, and its not a decoders fault.
