Color Matching Question
I’ve got two pieces of video that should more or less match in color, but one is from a very faded videotape. I think the easiest way to get the faded video to match the color of the non-faded is if there is a tool that will allow me to match the color of some text which appears in both, and hopefully adjust the rest of the image accordingly.
Does it make sense what I’m trying to do, and is there such a color correction tool?

I thought about that, but I wasn’t sure how to make Vegas look at the orange color of the text in one clip and make the text in another clip the exact same color of orange, and at the same time adjust the color saturation of the rest of the image proportionally. Can Color Match do that, and if so, how?
