  • Color Matching in Vegas pro 9?

I filmed a series of interviews (on a Sony Z1-U)and discovered (after the shoot) that one of the tapes was bad and the color was dropping out and going from normal to bluish every couple of seconds. Before I spend a day color-matching every couple of seconds, does Vegas 9 have a color-matching feature where you can isolate a good region and have Vegas match the “bad” region to the color specs of the “good” region?

    Thank you,

There is nothing automatic that I know of. You can just use the Color Corrector to white balance the frames that are off. If they are all off by the same amount, create a preset to reuse.

you can get marginally close by copying a frame of one color group to the clipboard, then set the display window to show the clipboard while you scroll to the next color set. Click on the various areas in the match clip. I’d recommend finding a clip that best represents a median between all clips to be matched.
