  • Color Management off” missing from Color Settings options

I am new to Photoshop and I am trying to follow Richard Harrington’s Photoshop for Video tutorial setup. He recommends setting Edit/Color Settings/Settings to the option “Color management Off” from the default “North American General Purpose 2”. My problem is I don’t have “Color Management Off” listed in the options. (I have “More Options” selected.) I can set all the color Policies to off but I would like to know why I don’t have the option in the list.

    Thank you.

I am using PSCS3 V10.0.1, no suite. I have “More Options” selected. There is no ICM communication Icon in the upper left corner on the Color Settings page. Since there is no ICM communcation between applications the option is not needed and PS does not display it. Could this be the reason?
