  • Color issues with Dynamic Link (After Effects CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6)

I have an end tag graphic built in After Effects CS6 that starts with a fade up from transparency. I’ve dynamically linked the comp in my Premiere Pro CS6 timeline, but when the graphic fades up on top of a clip, the colors are blown out and look overexposed during the transition. Once the graphic has completely faded in, everything looks fine; it’s just while it’s semi-transparent that nothing looks right.

If I render the graphic out to ProRes 4444 with an alpha channel and import that into the Premiere timeline, it works fine. But, that sort of defeats the whole purpose of being able to dynamically link and thus avoid having to re-render every time I want to make a change. Any ideas on what could be causing the color issue?

I can give more details, just not sure what would and wouldn’t be helpful for you to know. Wanted to hear some initial ideas first. Thanks!
