I have some weird color display problem in FCP. I’ve imported pne layer .psd file in different resolutions (8000×4000 and 4000×2000) and than same file as .jpeg in same resolutions. In Photoshop it looks ok, in Motion it looks ok, but in FCP I got strong contrast and color boost and lot of noise.
    Am I doing something wrong?

Images are rather BIG (dense) for one thing.

1440 is usually all you need, even for “zoom-ins”.

At some point the too-high resolution looks like “noise” on a video screen.

(You might try adding a bit of blur filter to the noisey image.)

Are the images set to RGB color?

It’s sometimes unbelievable how you can overlook the simplest solution 🙂
It was in CMYK of course, tnx Matte.

I’m working in this high resolution cause I’m working in HD and I need a lot of space to move.
