    Hello all,

Got a new, and frankly puzzling, issue in FCP7. I am running FCP 7 w/ Snow Leopard 10.6.2.

Working in FCP 7, I am adding a Color Corrector 3 way filter. When I pull this tab out and make a move in it (pulling towards a color, brightening/darkening) the panel disappears and the slug sets itself in my viewer, like I never opened the particular shot. I am working with DVCPro HD footage, and I am not running anything other than firefox on my machine.

Mind you, all this occured right after installing the new Prokit software update…Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? As you can imagine, I cannot get any work done if I have to keep reopening the shot.

Thank you all for your time.

And just for yucks and giggles, what computer are you running this on? Version of OS and QT?

[Patrick Conroy] “.Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?”

If you pull out the color corrector 3way tab and make an adjustment, and then load another shot, the tab will be loaded back in to the viewer for the next shot. It’s always worked that way as far as I can remember. The 3 way won’t stay apart from the viewer there when you load a new shot as the filter and shot are viewer specific.

    Gentlemen,

Thank you all for your time on this matter. After some testing and troubleshooting, it seems to be localized to that one clip. For some reason, everything else has been stable. At this time, I am going to say that it was just a hiccup in the program. If anything else comes up with this, I will be sure to post and give you my breakdown of what is going on.

    Thanks again all!
