I shot a live show recently, I didnt get a chance to set the white balance correctly before it started, and there was a variety of lighting and it was underlit.

I bumped the gain and used 4300 setting on an EX3.

the result is a slightly dark and yellow image.

I have tried messing around with correcting it.
I haven’t made much headway in sparking the image up.

If anyone can give me any suggestions for methods to improve the image i would be grateful.

    thanks

    Anthony

You can post a still are two and you may get more help but you are in deep trouble. That is a bad combo of issues, Bad white balance, underexposed and you used the gain in the camera. It ain’t going to be pretty.

I don’t see any grey triangle, and apparently neither does Michael.

I’m assuming the curtains are black or close to it. Apply the 3-way color corrector and select the blacks eyedropper. Select the curtains and that should get rid of the yellow tint. Best of luck.
