I use the 3-way color-correction tool very often.
I already have it saved as a ‘favorite’ in the Effects tab, but I was wondering if there was some way to save it as a BUTTON shortcut on the timeline.

I notice there is a Favorite Effect 1,2,3 button option – perhaps that is a way to save it. Any ideas on how to save the color-corrector as a favorite effect/filter?

    Thanks in advance,

    you’re on the right track

put the Colour Corrector filter into the favorites folder then check under the Effects >Favorites sunmenu for the shortcut assigned … the favorites list is arranged in alphabetical order, with the first shortcut assigned as control-shift-2, the second is control-shift-W, then control-shift-X and so on

in order to ensure the Color Corrector is always ‘control-shift-2’ then you might rename it with a couple of leading spaces to force it to the top of the list, otherwise if you throw in for example ‘Broadcast Safe’ then your alphabetical list of favorites will be reordered

    cheers
