    Hi Photoshop Experts,

I’m using Photoshop CS2 when doing my color corrections on my Dell 24″ monitor. I’m scanning a picture into Photoshop CS2 from my HP Scanjet 5200C scanner. When I do my color corrections the way I want it and it looks great on the monitor. When the picture is printed from my Epson R1800 printer, the picture shows to much red and the background color is a different color than the original picture. Any suggestions on how to correct this problem. I’m wasting to much ink and paper to get the look that I want. I was thinking about buying the Spider Device to calibrate my monitor, but I want to get my answers from this forum.

    Thanks in advance.

Calibrating the monitor and the printer are the only way to make sure that the colors match accurately.

Are you on Mac or Windows?

    Hi Jim,

I’m using Windows and what do you recommend calibrating with?

    Happy Thanksgiving.
