So I’ve noticed that color correction in Premiere Pro stinks. Not that it isn’t thorough, but I’m used to FCP’s Three-Way color corrector which is very quick and works extremely well. I’ve gotten great results with it from quick correction to advanced stuff. I really just need something that works like this with Premiere, because I am editing AVCHD footage and don’t want to convert it all. So I’m switching to Premiere. Anyone know of a good plug in or alternate software that can work with a Premiere project file that can do good, QUICK color correction?

Red Giant’s Colorista II is pretty nifty, it’s also 299 dollars. If you have After Effects you probably have the Color Finesse plug in.

These really aren’t QUICK solutions to color correction, but better than the basic 3-way color corrector in Premiere. I personally use the Boris FX 3-way color corrector which is closer to the FCP one.
