Color correction and external monitor
Hello again, I want to correct colors with FC and external broadcast monitor. It is better to use an analog monitor or a Digital monitor. Apple sells a Mini DVI to Video adaptor with composite (RCA) and SVideo outputs, would this be enought to work with an analog monitor? or I need a canopus card to use conponent video, is this an important issue for the image in the monitor?

Analog or digital are fine so long as you have a properly calibrated monitor and feeding it a good, professional signal.

Composite is the worst possible choice for monitoring professional video. S-Video is the bare minimum so long as you have a properly calibrated external monitor.
If you’re working in HD, then Component is the bare minimum you will require.

I am working in DVCpro 50 in Imac. Could you tell me please how can I get the signal to a monitor? I guess the only output is the Mini DVI . I been researching and I cant find a clear answer for this
It would be digital or analog?
