My thought would be a very slight yet immediate curve to your brights. leaving your whites white but will darken quicker and should enhance any tone changes that do exist in the those blown out whites.

There’s no detail in the background, just blurry white and cyan. So nothing can be done aside from changing the cyan to blue or something. But the white will be white, unless you want it to be featureless gray. 🙂

I’d strip in a blurry nature shot or something, and overexpose it slightly to sell the effect. You don’t want to see much.

    Thanks!

    I’ll try this.

Dude! IT’s so bad that it’s actually quite funny. Sorry but I couldn’t resist.

No amount of 2D filters is going to make it workable. Your best bet is to use something like Curves in conjunction with 3D lights. A few point lights stragecially placed, colored and ‘intensensed’ is your best option to save the shot.

It’s doable. But you’ll need to finesse it with some 3D lights.

    Good Luck

Don’t apologize. My boss and I just looked at each other and laughed when we saw it.

Thanks for the advice. It’s working pretty well. It’s not great, but definitely much better.

You could always mask out the window and add an entirely different window back there. Or even replace it with a wall, anything really.
