color correction
Posted by Murray Nelson on March 7, 2012 at 10:53 pmI would like to know if there was a way to match colors from one clip captured from a Panasonic camera to the capture of a Sony in Vegas 9 Pro? The Sony camera had way too much exposure while the Panasonic exposure is “just right”.
Any way of doing this?John Rofrano replied 14 years, 2 months ago 4 Members · 4 Replies -

March 8, 2012 at 2:03 amThe colorMatch plugin from FBmn Software would suit
you well, but unfortunately it isnt compatible with
Vegas 9… BorisFX also has a filter for this.Steve Rhoden

March 8, 2012 at 2:22 amThanks for getting back Steve.
I am using a PC. Can one get Boris Effects for a PC? I suppose I have to go Adobe Premier Pro or something like that to get onto those Plugs. Is there a version of Vegas that will “color match”? -

Yes, Boris RED and Boris Continuum Complete 7 are both available for the PC.

Yes, both Boris RED and Boris Continuum Complete 7 are both available for Vegas Pro but you need version 10.0 or later. Vegas Pro 9 doesn’t support OFX plug-ins (which RED and BCC7 are)
I show you how to use BCC ColorMatch in BCC7 in the video that Theo posted.
