I am trying to match up 3 VERY unmatched cameras. I don’t know color correction in FCP that well, but it seems to suck. There is no way to perfectly match up one camera to another one the way you can in AVID Xpress. I was wondering if there was an easier way to perfectly match up the cameras other than trial by error. If not, I was wondering if I could take this project in FCP and put it into AVID Xpress on a PC. Is that possible? Would I need to export it using Quicktime? Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me. I am on a time crunch with this nightmare project.

You can use the match hue tool to help you. I find the CC tools in FCP to be pretty good. But since you are in a huge hurry and are frustrated with FCP’s CC tools because you don’t have time to learn them, then by all means bring your project into Avid. You’ll need Automatic Duck to import your timeline with any accuracy. Good luck.
