    Then you need to get a Thunderbolt out device…Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Monitor is $145…connect that to a decent HDTV…and you should be good to go.

    Sorry shane can you Explain to me what do i need to have in order to do high quality color correction in a simple Budget regarding tools and Software. Current i own only my Camera PMW ex280 and iMac 21″

    No, it has firewire port, Display Port and USB Ports

    Then no, alas. BlackMagic Decklink has USB portion, but none of them are for the Mac, PC only. And FireWire options are no longer made.

    Buy a computer with Thunderbolt, then get something like the AJA T-TAP or Decklink Extreme Mini Monitor…and a good HDTV.
