  Color corrected clips washed out by font / graphics

  Hi everyone-

  I’m running FCP 4.1.1 on a Mac dual G4. I have some DV clips on the timeline which I adjusted using the brightness / contrast function of the Color Correction tool. When I lay font or graphics over it, the clips get all washed out, and look more like the original clips. After rendering, the Viewer tells me that the video clips are still brightness / contrast adjusted, even though they’re not. When I remove the font / graphics, they look as I intended (adjusted).

  I used these same graphics on other video clips and they worked fine. It seems to be an issue with the adjusted clips.
