    That looks like it’s a some sort of an object id pass. You can key an object from the pass to get a clean matte to use for effects.

    thanks for the reply!
    i think i understand what you are saying, and if there are three colors , i imagine three precomps, one for each pass keyed and matted for color. but what would you suggest as a good workflow in such case?
