I’m creating a DVD menu with the title of the film on the main menu. I want one word of the title to flow back forth from a deep red to an army green. I’ve got the word by itself and I have the colors figured out, but I can’t seem to get it to phase back and forth smoothly. I tried using a color balance filter and keyframing it to change over time, but the word touches on a lot of colors while switching between the red and green, which incidentally looks really cool, but it’s not what I’m going for. It needs to be red or green, nothin’ else.

    Any help?

Create one text object as red.

Duplicate it and change the color to green.

Fade the top one in and out to reveal the bottom one’s color (use keyframes or an Oscillate parameter behavior on opacity).

Of course! I always over-think these things 😛

    Thanks.
