First time user, so hopefully there is a simple solution to this urgent matter:

Graded a project on Davinci Resolve Lite 9.
When I apply a grade to some clips, blotches of the opposite color show up. It looks like an excess luma warning. Is there a way to make it either
    1) go away
    2) not render out
    3) or fix the problem which it is alerting me to?
I have attached a screenshot that includes file specs.

Screening in 4 hours. Please help.

What do your scopes look like? I’m going to guess that you’re clipping that part of the image.

Its on a Mac tower OSX version 10.7.5 2.8 ghz quad core intel xeon w 16gb 1066 mhz ddr3.
I am going back and removing the grades on the problem shots. They are all shots with blown out highlights.

You’re using an ATI card. Upgrade to 10.8 or switch to an nvidia card.
