I wonder if they cut it, too. Is so, Premiere?

Hell, 46 cuts in a 65 second cuts-only spot. iMovie? 😉

Does it matter? I understand for a TV series or film with lots of media management or a TV spot with unique editing challenges, the choice of editing tool is an interesting topic of discussion. But for a TV spot like this? Who cares. Don’t they all do the job adequately.

Just a curious question. The Coens cut their own films and have shifted to Premiere Pro. So, I was wondering if they had cut it, too, or just directed it. Of course, if a regular commercial editor cut it, then it could be any of the options. It wasn’t a “this tool versus that tool” question.

February 2, 2017 at 5:20 pmYou know, it’s a pretty conventional spot. They spent extra money on casting, but there isn’t anything horribly original in it. The controversial Budweiser spot takes more chances.

February 2, 2017 at 7:07 pmOld school cool: American Rebel Big Iron!
New school cool: German Engineering?
And the yes, a much bolder Budweiser spot – born from Belgium/Brazil based InBev
I wonder if the Apple Logic Pro team – also based in Germany – is amused?
Welcome to our much changed, MUCH smaller world.
Oh well.
