I am having to accept digitized video from someone else who has a pc.They use Power Director?
This is what they can out put ,I want qt right for cutting in final cut? she says …WHat is the most high quality for a master she should digitize to . Sorry if this sounds crazy.“I use Power Director.

You are correct in thinking you need a Quicktime format for FCP – any format listed in FCP’s Easy Setups will woek. PowerDirector is not a professional video editor. It does list Quicktime as a format in its specs, but it’s not clear what codec is being used. Ask your client what choices there are when exporting Quicktime? See if one of them matches an Easy Setup. If it matches, use that.

As John and dave points, all are compressed delivery formats. Only the AVI could have more quality depending of the codec used (and the processing).
