codecs?
Where can I get the DV AVI Codec? I’m haveing to save everything out as Microsoft AVI and doing alot of converting and rendering. Too much time and quality lost doing this. Any help on this?

Search for the Panasonic DV Codec in Google, but be aware that installing it can cause you problems using some other codecs in your editing program (divx and xvid for sure, perhaps some others).
You may be able to use a frameserver depending on which editing program you use. You can grab the DebugMode one here. I find this the best way to move any footage from Vegas to pI, as it takes no time to render and there’s no compression issues.
