Say i did want to use Sony Vegas, not stolen, but just the trial version alone… where could i download the trial version from online?

I think what i forgot to add was that, i deleted Sony Vegas until i can find a way to get it without it being stolen, i don’t want to be theif. And if that means going out and buying it when i get the money, so be it.

If you are still willing to respond, do you know any sites that can work Sony Vegas. I think some of my last comments sounded like i was trying to lie on something, but i wasn’t trying to lie, i hate lying. If you asked me if i downloaded it stolen, i’d answer yes, if you asked me if i downloaded it without realizing it was stolen, i’d say i’m not the bright persont hat reads into everything, so no. If you asked if i still had SV installed, i’d say no. If you asked me if i was going to be careful with anything i download a lot better next time, i’d say yes.

I appreciate your honesty. You don’t have to buy Vegas Pro, the Movie Studio version is extremely full featured and Vegas Movie Studio HD 9 is only $44.95 USD and Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 is $94.95 USD. If you download the trial of either you can use it for 30-days while your saving up the money. If you use one after the other, that’s 60-days of free editing.

I’ve never used Windows Movie Maker so I really can’t help you unless you are using Vegas. It’s the only NLE that I use.

You last update was that your files were working with the x264vfw codec installed. I’m not clear on what problem you’re having now.

Anything that doesn’t involve the trial version… I forgot to add that. No problems except getting Sony Vegas the right way!

[Paige Karmen] “Is there a link where i can go to get the trial version?”

Most of us would go to the manufacturer’s web site to download trial versions so that would be the Sony web site. You can downloads trials of all the versions from Vegas Product Family page.

Okay, nvm the last message. I’m having problem’s registering.

You see, when i get to the page that has the steps, double click this file, it tells me to enter any missing information on the sony registration site, then submit.
Then it sends you an email with the authentication code…

However after double clicking, it redirects the page to a page that says “HTTP 403 Forbidden”

What web site are you talking about? There is no registration. You go to the Vegas Software page on Sony web site and you click on Download Free Trial for the version you want to download and it brings you to the download page. You then click the Download button and your browser will ask you to save the file. No registration or anything. No emails. Nothing. Just download the file.

And… why are you downloading Vegas Pro if you can’t afford it? I thought you were going to download the Vegas Movie Studio trial?
