    Hi,

My FCP file works fine on one machine, but when I run it from another I get an error trying to playback a Quicktime mov file, it keeps saying Codec not found. I have no idea which codec its looking for so I cant download it – does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Thanks,

    Marcus

Do you have the same version of FCP on each machine?

What codec is the original file? Just double click it on the original machine into Quicktime and it will tell you.

Or better yet, look at it in FCP.
