codec not found you maybe using….
new to final cut, my apologues
codec not found you maybe using a compression type with the corresponding hardware card
i took from sd card and saved to desktop
also when playing the file through vlc the audio keeps cutting out
codec reads MSADPCM

Which Camera shot it the footage? It likely needs transcoding. Might try MPEG Streamclip. Free download, just google it.

MIght try transcoding the file with MPEG Streamclip. Just google it, it’s free.

yeah i downloaded it and tried exporting in different formats with no result. the clip won’t even play in streamclip. no option to convert either
