  Codec Fatal Decode Error

  We are running MC 5.5.2, Win7 64bit, Z800 12-core, 12gig RAM. AMA plugin 1.2 installed.

  I’m working with QT movies recorded on a Black Magic HyperDeck 2. They are recorded using the Avid DNxHD 220x codec in a .mov wrapper.

  The files are on a media drive. AMA pulls in the files, no issues. The problem is during playback. I am consistantly getting this error. Happens randomly…no real pattern to the stops.

  Anybody familiar with this one?

  The only way I’ve been able to get clean playback is to Transcode to the same codec which defeats the AMA workflow. If I’m going to do that, I might as well just import everything to start.
