Using Compressor yields much better results than exporting directly from FCP anyway. I find I can create smaller files with better resolution than any of FCP’s presets in QT Export.

    Hi Rikard,
I’m with Walter. I only export from FC with the codec that I used for editing. For transcoding, I think, Compressor is much better option.
    Cheers,

ok, exporting via compressor is ok, but not being able to see any effects or transitions while working really sucks. but no solution seems to be available?
