  • CMX 3600 EDL By Lab Roll?

I’ve been talking to my lab where I’m rescanning my negative to 2K, based off my EDL from my miniDV fcp timeline. Everything is correct and matches from the Cinematools database, to the window burns, to the EDL itself. However, I am having problems exporting the CMX 3600 format (as required by the lab) and have it organized by reel and time-code so they can just scan the first reel, hour, second, so on and so on.

Is there an easy way to do this? I’m assuming it is some kind of pull-list, but I’m not sure how to generate one in the CMX 3600 format.

Here’s the cut list in .pdf format where the shots are as they are in my timeline, but not organized by miniDV timecode.

If I export the .pdf by File –> Export –> Cinema Tools Film List. I can export the .pdf pull list that lists the sequence by reel and time code. What would be the best way of converting this to CMX3600?

Yes. But it doesn’t give it to me in order of the reel or timecode, the cmx gives me the cut list and not the pull list.
