  clustering 5D footage converting to XDCAM EX

  Hi,

  I work in a networked environment and I often use clusters through compressor to convert large amounts of 5D footage to XDCAM EX. It’s not the most efficient workflow but it’s not my choice. But I’ve been encountering a problem. Most of the time the converted files look just fine but now I’m seeing weird abrupt luminance changes in the converted files. I don’t see the luminance changes in the raw 5D footage. I had been clustering the processors of several imacs and mac pros together, but then I switched to just the imacs and for a while that seemed to help but now I’m seeing luminance flashes again. when I re-convert the files using only “this computer” they look fine. is there any way to continue using clusters to convert 5D footage to XDCAM?
