  Closed Captioning – Special characters?

  I have a video for a client and Target wants a captioned version for web. I can submit a slew of formats, but they wont just take an SRT, SCV …they want it soft-coded. I have Squeeze, but I tried it with Handbrake as it seemed easy and straight forward to make an MP4.

  Their titles include a trade mark (TM) s symbol. It appears as gibberish in the soft-coded titles. Is there any character set that works? Or another way to do it?
