April 17, 2009 at 12:54 amYou can’t create CCs in FCP directly. You must use something like ccaption, then render out the “Black Captions” import them into FCP, crop them to match the lines and do your playout.
With DVD SP you can use SCC files from an external source.Andreas

the only box that can encode CC for HD “allegedly”, in an NLE setting is MXO2, however the software to make the file that gets dropped in the timeline works well (except of course for the rendering) comes from the link i provided earlierDoug Beal
