I’m having this mesh of a mask and want to close it’s back. How do I do that? The mesh is millions of faces and I’ve tried “close polygon hole”, but that doesn’t seem to work.(don’t get the lines around the hole). I’ve also built some bridges with great difficulty but the hole is probably still to big. Any help is highly appreciated.

Can’t see an image if you tried to post one.

I’ve uploaded an image now. I hope it’s clear for you. I just want to close the back, no matter how it looks. As long as I can get enough polygons to shape it with C4D sculpt or such.
    Thanks

Best way would probably be to select all polygons and then run the extrude command with the caps option enabled.

    Hi Adam,
tried your solution, but couln’t get it to work. Is there a way to just stitch the sides together? is there a sculpting tool in C4D for that? actually trying to close the gap, but the high amount of polygons doesn’t allow this (and the gap is probably way to big).
