  Cloning my MacBook Pro HD dilemma

  I’m currently running FCP 5.1.4 on my MacBook Pro 15″ (full specs below) and I want to Super Duper clone my HD for new FCP 7 installation (finally, it’s been sitting on the shelf for loong time).
  Working mostly with DVCPRO HD P2 material.

  First dilemma is; should I run the external HD through FW drive, or can I run it through eSata via my Voyager dock (I know I can’t use USB for making a bootable drive, are there any technical restrictions on eSata). Would I gain anything in speed (comparing to FW or the advantage is negligible?
  BTW, does anyone use eSata Voyager docking station as a scratch drive base?

  My second dilemma is; should I clone my existing HD (with FC Studio 1) to external first, then clean install external drive and proceed with FC Studio 3 installation, or should I start with installing my Leopard system discs drive on a blank hard drive? The system discs will make it bootable I assume.

  Another question; is FCS Remover right tool for the job?

  Finally, is my MacBook Pro (and Leopard) good enough for FCS 3 and how they “work” together,
  because I do have FCS 2 upgrade discs too (I like to keep my options open 🙂
