    Hi All.
I just can’t figure this one out. It is giving me headaches.
My shape is in a Cloner with a RB tag. Another shape (L shaped extrusion for background) also has a RB tag.

The objects do what they are supposed to do, but there is a gap between the Cloned objects and my studio floor. This means that when rendering with Ambient Occlusion my objects seem to hover above the floor.

    What to do?

You might need to change the collision shape to “moving mesh” so the actual geometry is being used for the collision (as opposed to a simplified proxy shape).

    Hi Adam
Thanks for that. I couldn’t find “Moving Mesh” I have R11.5 – is there a workaround?

“Convex Hull” would probably be the best choice in ll.5. The downside to it is that, as the name implies, it doesn’t model concave surfaces.
