Cloner texture problems
Hello again:
I’m having trouble texturing a group of cloned cubes; the front face is correct, but the cubes’ sides and top texture is jumping around from frame to frame.
I’m making my first foray into some motion graphics-type animations. I’m creating a transition for a video in which a bunch of cubes fly in with the show title projected onto the face, sit there for a second, and then scale down and fly off to the right.
The animation moves correctly, but the textures are erratic. I have my show title image mapped onto the front faces of the cub with the Cloner Object Fix Texture set to Straight. The texture tag is set to flat, projected from the front. The front faces look fine, but the sides and tops jump around. On some frames it appears the texture is being projected through the sides from the front, but on other frames the sides display the generic grey texture. My preference was to have the image projected onto the front and the sides and tops of the cubes to be blue, but at this point I’d be happy if it would just stay consistent and not jump around.
Here’s a link to a small Quicktime:

I’ve substituted a checkerboard texture for my image map. As you scrub through the movie you can see some frames with the checkerboard projecting along the side and some with the grey sides.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
