    Hey

I want to clone objects on a spline using xpresso only. I saw a video from ManvsMachine where he did it, but the video quality are so bad.

I took some screenshot and hope one of you can remake it. I’m a total noob to xpresso, so hope this simple xpresso can help me.

can’t see most of what’s in the xpresso from that screen shot but it’s possible to tell he’s not dealing with clones but is arranging a bunch of spheres under a null along the spline and feeding the nulls into the xpresso with a Hierarchy node, without seeing what he is doing with the spheres it’s hard to know why you would want do it in xpresso rather than truly cloning along a spline ( or just Arranging along a spline)

I’m trying to recreate the knitting effect his making her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxxTuxM2OsM&t=64s

I already did the main animation, but if I put it in a cloner object, it’s not possible to view the animation in the viewport. Not even if I only clone it ones. But if I make a duplicate of the object like 100 times, there is no problem viewing it in the viewport.

You are completely right about we are not dealing with clones!! Thank for open my eye on that one. Now I just need to find a way to align duplicates on a spline using xpresso.
