Clone Stamp Overlay. How can I set it, then freely move cursor?
Hello, I have an issue with the clone stamp tool. For example, I need to remove white marks that randomly appear on the film stock. They aren’t consistent which is great for clone stamp.
I usually sample the frame before or after the problem frame. I hit option+click to set the clone source overlay, then I jump a frame over to the problem frame and I line up it as close as possible.
The problem is once I line it up, the cursor tends to be in a place that I don’t want to apple a clone stoke.
Is there a way to set the clone source overlay so that I can freely move my mouse to where it needs to be, then apply the stroke?
I’ve included a video or my problem. One workaround (that is more tedious) is to “set” the clone source overlay by applying a clone stoke, then moving to where I need to be, applying a second stroke, then deleting the initial stroke.
