clips only partially exporting??
Prepping for color so want to bake some clips but Final Cut only exports a portion, not the whole thing. Tried all ways, trashed prefs, etc. Puzzling, has not occurred before. Anyone else?

What version of color and final cut are you using? With color 1.5 and fcp 7 you don’t need to bake clips anymore. Are you copying the clips you want to bake into a new sequence and then exporting?
You just need to give some more details here to get a better response.

Final Cut Studio. Yes, I was trying all things, including putting into a new sequence for export. I was trying to export to ProRes from DVCProHD. Found that if I exported as “current settings” meaning DVCProHD then transcoded in Compressor it works ok, but not straight out of a timeline with the section selected; it never exports the whole clip! Have a workaround now, still curious though.
BTW, I have somewhat of a potpourri (my own doing) of Codecs in the timeline, thus am going to Color in several steps.
